Redding's Only Factory Trained BMW Specialist

You heard it here first, North State Auto is the only truly factory trained BMW Specialist in the area. There are plenty of other shops that do provide service and repair for BMW vehicles, however they may have limiting factors when it comes to knowledge and specialty equipment. Not only do we have the real dealer-level diagnostic equipment, but we have the skills and experience to be able to interpret and implement the correct diagnostics and repairs.

BMW 3 Series

Starting in 1975 with the E21 320i, the BMW 3 Series has been a staple in the European car community for decades. Known for its nimble handling characteristics and low barrier to entry into the world of BMW, tens of millions of miles have been racked up on the workhorse of the BMW lineup. The 3 Series is BMW's best-selling model, accounting for around 30% of the BMW brand's annual total sales (excluding motorbikes), and has won numerous awards throughout its history. The "M" version of the 3 series, M3, debuted with the E30 M3 in 1986.

BMW 5 Series

The BMW 5 Series has been manufactured and marketed by BMW since 1972, and currently in its seventh generation.

The first generation of the 5 Series was powered by naturally aspirated four-cylinder and six-cylinder petrol engines. The following generations have been powered by four-cylinder, six-cylinder, V8, and V10 engines that are either naturally aspirated or turbocharged. Since 1982, diesel engines have been included in the 5 Series range.

The 5 Series is BMW's second best-selling model after the 3 Series.
